Bodies of Work

 

I work in mainly analogue format from pinehole to 35 mm and 120, but I also use digital-analogue contact printing. I prefer to use negatives with a dark grain, but enjoy the versitility of digital contact negatives.

 

I use mainly silver gelatin to obtain dark rich tones and argyrotype for prints with a warm rich feel.


All the work is handmade, from shooting and developing films, to exposing and final developing. All the prints are single edition on hand-moulded acid free paper. The work is archived with selenium, with some being toned and/or partially bleached. 

 

The bodies of work are researched and shot over a period of time.
